Julie is a singer/songwriter and actress residing in NYC. Originally from Raleigh, NC, she made the move to New York to pursue her dreams of being on Broadway. While she has been fortunate enough to achieve this dream and continue to work in this industry, she has begun to follow another passion...writing and creating her original music. This site is mostly dedicated to this endeavor.
Her first recording was a self-titled four song EP recorded in 2005. The following full-length album, THIS PART OF TOWN, released in 2008, was made with Connecticut based bluegrass musician/arranger/producer, Dick Neal. The sound is a mix of folk and bluegrass.
