Singer.  Songwriter.  Actress.  Musician. Writer.

Julie Foldesi is a New York based singer/songwriter and actor.  She is originally from North Carolina, but grew up traveling the world living in Japan and Korea. Julie has won many songwriting competitions, was a feature on the web series "Submissions Only," and plays regularly with her bluegrass influenced band in NYC.  She has appeared on Broadway in Sunday in the Park with George, Newsies, South Pacific, Little Women and The Full Monty.  She was a regular on As the World Turns, has been seen in the occasional commercial, but most often is found writing songs and spending her days with her daughter.   She received a BA in Opera performance from UNC-Chapel Hill and is currently working on some writing projects...more to come...

This North Carolina native’s songs range from lovelorn to political, soul-searching to self critical. “I hear some qualities of Jewel, Dixie Chicks, and maybe a touch of KD Lang. Hopefully we’ll get to hear more from her in the future.
